Baked Pears with Berries, Honey, Walnuts & Blue Cheese

Warm baked pears filled with sweet berries, drizzled with honey, topped with crunchy walnuts and creamy blue cheese for a delightful dessert or appetizer.

  • 4 ripe Bosc or Anjou pears, halved and cored
  • 1 cup mixed berries (raspberries, blueberries, blackberries)
  • 1/4 cup honey, plus extra for drizzling
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts, toasted
  • 4 oz blue cheese, crumbled
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Place pear halves cut-side up in a baking dish, drizzle with lemon juice.
  2. Fill each pear half with berries, sprinkle with cinnamon, and drizzle with honey. Bake for 20-25 minutes until pears are tender.
  3. Remove from oven, top with toasted walnuts and crumbled blue cheese. Drizzle with additional honey and serve warm.
