Sweet Chili Sticky Beef & Rice Bowls

Tender beef strips glazed in a sweet chili sauce, served over fluffy rice for a quick and flavorful meal.

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 1/3 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a bowl, whisk together sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, garlic, and ginger.
  2. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef slices and cook for 2-3 minutes until browned.
  3. Pour the sauce mixture over the beef and simmer for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the beef.
  4. Divide cooked rice among bowls, top with the sticky beef, and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
