Sriracha Honey Glazed Chicken & Waffle Sliders

Sweet and spicy chicken sliders sandwiched between crispy waffles for a perfect balance of flavors.

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp sriracha sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 4 mini waffles (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Season chicken thighs with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  2. In a small bowl, mix honey, sriracha, and soy sauce. Brush half of the glaze over the chicken.
  3. Bake chicken for 20-25 minutes, brushing with remaining glaze halfway through.
  4. Toast waffles until crispy. Mix mayonnaise with lime juice for a tangy spread.
  5. Assemble sliders: spread mayo on waffles, add lettuce, then top with glazed chicken and another waffle.
