Spicy Korean Beef Noodle Stir Fry

A quick and flavorful stir fry with tender beef, chewy noodles, and a spicy-sweet Korean-inspired sauce.

For the Crust:

  • 8 oz beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 8 oz udon noodles or ramen noodles
  • 3 tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, grated
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Cook noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together gochujang, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.
  3. Heat a large wok or skillet over high heat. Add beef and cook until browned, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add bell pepper and carrots to the wok. Stir-fry for 2 minutes.
  5. Add cooked noodles and sauce to the wok. Toss everything together until well coated and heated through.
  6. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
