Shrimp & Crab Croissant Lasagna with Cheesy Layers

A decadent seafood lasagna made with flaky croissant layers, succulent shrimp, crab meat, and a rich cheese sauce.

For the Crust:

  • 4 large croissants, sliced horizontally
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 oz lump crab meat
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour to create a roux. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Fold in 1 cup of mozzarella and 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese until melted.
  4. Layer half of the croissant slices in the baking dish. Top with half of the shrimp, crab meat, and cheese sauce. Repeat layers.
  5. Sprinkle remaining mozzarella, cheddar, and Parmesan cheese on top.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and golden. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
