For the Crust:

  • 2 lbs pork shoulder
  • 1 cup peach preserves
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup crispy fried onions
  • 12 slider buns

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Season pork shoulder with smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Place pork in a slow cooker and cook on low for 8 hours or until tender.
  3. Shred the pork using two forks.
  4. In a saucepan, combine peach preserves, BBQ sauce, and apple cider vinegar. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Mix the peach BBQ sauce with the shredded pork.
  6. Toast slider buns lightly.
  7. Assemble sliders with pulled pork mixture and top with crispy onions.
