Marshmallow Chocolate Poke Cake

A decadent chocolate cake filled with gooey marshmallow cream and topped with chocolate frosting for ultimate indulgence.

For the Crust:

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 jar (7 oz) marshmallow creme
  • 1 cup chocolate frosting
  • 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. Prepare cake mix according to package directions using eggs, oil, and water. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 28-32 minutes until toothpick comes out clean.
  3. While cake is still warm, use the handle of a wooden spoon to poke holes all over the surface of the cake.
  4. Warm marshmallow creme in microwave for 15-20 seconds until slightly runny. Pour over cake, spreading to fill holes.
  5. Let cake cool completely, then spread chocolate frosting evenly over top. Sprinkle with mini marshmallows and chocolate chips before serving.

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
