A hearty casserole combining classic meatloaf with creamy loaded potatoes, topped with melted cheese.

For the Crust:
1 lb ground beef
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1 egg
1/4 cup ketchup
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
4 large potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup milk
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
2 green onions, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder. Press evenly into the bottom of the baking dish.
Layer sliced potatoes over the meatloaf mixture. Season with salt and pepper.
In a small bowl, whisk together sour cream and milk. Pour over the potatoes.
Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
Remove foil, sprinkle with cheese and bacon. Bake uncovered for another 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and potatoes are tender.
