Loaded Greek Gyro Nachos

A Mediterranean twist on classic nachos, featuring crispy pita chips, gyro meat, and fresh Greek toppings.

For the Crust:

  • 4 large pita breads, cut into triangles
  • 1 lb gyro meat (lamb or chicken)
  • 1 cup tzatziki sauce
  • 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup diced cucumbers
  • 1/4 cup sliced red onions
  • 1/4 cup kalamata olives, pitted and halved
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Arrange pita triangles on a baking sheet, brush with olive oil, and sprinkle with oregano, salt, and pepper. Bake for 10-12 minutes until crispy.
  2. While pita chips bake, cook gyro meat in a skillet over medium heat until browned and heated through.
  3. Layer baked pita chips on a serving platter. Top with cooked gyro meat, feta cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions, and olives.
  4. Drizzle tzatziki sauce over the top and serve immediately.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
