Honey Garlic Teriyaki Meatball Skillet

Juicy meatballs glazed in a sweet and savory honey garlic teriyaki sauce, cooked to perfection in a skillet.

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, and half of the minced garlic. Form into 1-inch meatballs.
  2. Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook meatballs until browned on all sides, about 8-10 minutes.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, remaining garlic, and ginger.
  4. Pour the sauce over the meatballs in the skillet. Simmer for 5-7 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the meatballs.
  5. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
