Honey Garlic Salmon Rice Bowls with Chili Crunch

A flavorful and balanced meal featuring tender honey garlic salmon served over rice and topped with spicy chili crunch.

For the Crust:

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 1/4 cup chili crunch
  • 1 cucumber, sliced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, garlic, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and ginger.
  3. Place salmon fillets on the baking sheet and brush generously with the honey garlic sauce. Reserve some sauce for serving.
  4. Bake salmon for 12-15 minutes or until cooked through.
  5. Divide cooked rice among bowls. Top with salmon, cucumber slices, and drizzle with reserved sauce.
  6. Sprinkle with chili crunch, green onions, and sesame seeds before serving.
