Famous Crab Bombs

Crispy, cheesy crab bombs with a spicy kick—perfect for appetizers or game day snacks.

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb lump crab meat
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix crab meat, cheddar cheese, mayonnaise, Old Bay, cayenne, and egg until well combined.
  3. Shape mixture into small balls, then roll each in panko breadcrumbs.
  4. Place on baking sheet, drizzle with melted butter, and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
