Crispy Sriracha Honey Garlic Shrimp Tacos

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp sriracha
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 8 small flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a bowl, toss shrimp with cornstarch, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until crispy and golden. Remove shrimp from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant. Stir in honey, sriracha, and soy sauce. Cook for 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  4. Return the shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat evenly with the sauce.
  5. Warm tortillas according to package instructions. Assemble tacos by placing shrimp on tortillas, topping with shredded cabbage and cilantro. Serve with lime wedges.
