Cowboy Butter Chicken Linguine

A rich and flavorful pasta dish featuring tender chicken in a creamy cowboy butter sauce with linguine.

For the Crust:

  • 8 oz linguine pasta
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Cook linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season chicken with salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper.
  3. In a large skillet, melt 1 tbsp butter over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until golden and cooked through, about 5-6 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt remaining butter. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and oregano. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  6. Add cooked linguine and chicken to the skillet. Toss to coat evenly in the sauce.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
