Cheesy Bread

A deliciously cheesy and garlicky bread perfect as an appetizer or side dish.

For the Crust:

  • 1 loaf French bread
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cut the French bread in half lengthwise and place on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. In a bowl, mix together softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, garlic powder, and salt until well combined.
  4. Spread the butter mixture evenly over both halves of the bread.
  5. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses evenly over the buttered bread.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Broil for 1-2 minutes until golden brown if desired. Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
