Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 lb bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 (32 oz) package frozen tater tots

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

  4. Spread the beef mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle half of the shredded cheese on top.
  5. Arrange tater tots in a single layer over the beef and cheese mixture.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until tater tots are golden and crispy.
  7. Remove from oven and sprinkle remaining cheese and crumbled bacon on top. Return to oven for 5 minutes to melt the cheese.
  8. Mix ketchup, mayonnaise, and pickle relish (if using) in a small bowl. Serve the casserole with the sauce on the side.
