Baked Peaches with Brown Sugar and Cinnamon
- 3 large ripe peaches
- 1 to 2 tablespoons salted butter
- 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream (for serving)
- Caramel sauce (for drizzling)
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease an oven-safe baking dish with nonstick spray.
- Cut the peaches in half and remove the pits. Place them cut-side up in the baking dish.
- Add about 3/4 teaspoon of salted butter to the center of each peach half.
- In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle the mixture over the peaches evenly.
- Bake for 10–13 minutes until the peaches are soft and golden but still hold their shape.
- Let cool slightly and serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream and a drizzle of caramel sauce.
