Yogurt Cloud Cake – soft, airy & heavenly!

A light and fluffy cake with a delicate yogurt flavor and an incredibly airy texture that melts in your mouth.

For the Crust:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 3 large eggs, separated
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line an 8-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together egg yolks, sugar, oil, yogurt, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Sift in flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix until just combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Gently fold into batter.
  5. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Let cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
