- 1 large garlic bread loaf (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 0.5 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 0.5 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
- 0.5 teaspoon dried oregano
- to taste Salt and black pepper
- 0.25 cup hot honey (store-bought or homemade)
- optional Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
- to serve Grated Parmesan cheese
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- If using frozen garlic bread, bake it according to the package instructions until it is slightly toasted but not fully cooked (about 5-7 minutes). Remove from the oven and set aside.
- In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, minced garlic, red pepper flakes, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Spread this mixture evenly over the top of your garlic bread loaf.
- Crumble the ricotta cheese evenly over the garlic bread, spreading it out to create a nice layer.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese generously on top of the ricotta.
- Return the garlic bread pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 10-12 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Once the pizza is out of the oven, drizzle hot honey generously over the top, ensuring every slice gets a taste of that sweet heat.
- Let it cool for a minute, then slice into pieces. Garnish with fresh basil if desired and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
