Ingredients
Scale
For the Crust:
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced
8 oz penne pasta
3 tbsp unsalted butter
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
1/4 cup heavy cream
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Season the chicken slices with salt, pepper, and half of the Cajun seasoning.
In a large skillet, melt 1 tbsp butter over medium heat. Cook the chicken until golden and cooked through, about 5-6 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt the remaining butter. Stir in honey, remaining Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Add the heavy cream and stir until the sauce thickens slightly, about 2-3 minutes.
Return the cooked chicken and pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat everything in the sauce. Cook for another 1-2 minutes.
