Savory French Dip Biscuits

Fluffy biscuits filled with roast beef and cheese, perfect for dipping in au jus.

For the Crust:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
  • 3/4 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup shredded roast beef
  • 1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup prepared au jus sauce

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cut in cold butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in milk until just combined.
  4. Fold in roast beef and Swiss cheese. Drop dough by 1/4 cup portions onto prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown. Serve warm with au jus for dipping.

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
