Rotel Sausage & Cream Cheese Crescents

A savory and creamy appetizer featuring sausage, Rotel tomatoes, and cream cheese wrapped in flaky crescent rolls.

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb ground sausage
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (10 oz) can Rotel diced tomatoes & green chilies, drained
  • 1 (8 oz) can refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease.
  3. Stir in the softened cream cheese, drained Rotel tomatoes, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined.
  4. Unroll the crescent dough and separate into triangles. Spoon a tablespoon of the sausage mixture onto each triangle and roll up, starting from the wide end.
  5. Place the crescents on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Serve warm.
