Reese’s Peanut Butter Balls

Delicious homemade peanut butter balls coated in chocolate, inspired by the classic Reese’s candy.

For the Crust:

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a large bowl, mix together peanut butter, softened butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  2. Roll the mixture into small balls (about 1-inch in diameter) and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  3. Freeze the peanut butter balls for 30 minutes to firm up.
  4. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  5. Dip each peanut butter ball into the melted chocolate, coating completely, then return to the parchment-lined sheet.
  6. Let the chocolate set at room temperature or refrigerate for faster results.
