For the Crust:

  • 12 mozzarella string cheese sticks
  • 12 slices thin-cut bacon
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup Nashville hot seasoning
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Wrap each mozzarella stick tightly with a slice of bacon, ensuring full coverage.
  2. Dredge each bacon-wrapped mozzarella stick in flour, then dip in beaten eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs mixed with Nashville hot seasoning.
  3. Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium heat. Fry the sticks in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  4. Drain on paper towels and serve immediately with ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping.
