Mini Tater Tot Cheeseburgers

A fun twist on classic cheeseburgers using crispy tater tots as the bun.

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 package (32 oz) frozen tater tots
  • 4 slices American cheese, quartered
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
  • 8 dill pickle slices

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Arrange tater tots in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and crispy.
  2. While tater tots bake, mix ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Form into 16 small patties (about 1 tbsp each).
  3. Cook patties in a skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes per side until browned and cooked through.
  4. Place a quarter slice of cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.
  5. Mix ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise in a small bowl to make the sauce.
  6. Assemble by placing a cheeseburger patty between two tater tots. Add a dab of sauce, a pinch of lettuce, and a pickle slice.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
