Pecan Red Velvet Cheesecake

A decadent red velvet cheesecake with a pecan crust, combining Southern charm with rich flavors.

For the Crust:

  • 2 cups crushed pecans
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 24 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp red food coloring
  • 1 cup sour cream

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Mix crushed pecans, melted butter, and 2 tbsp sugar. Press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
  3. Beat cream cheese and 1 cup sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla, cocoa powder, and red food coloring.
  4. Fold in sour cream, then pour mixture over the pecan crust.
  5. Bake for 50-60 minutes until center is set. Cool completely before serving.
