For the Crust:

  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a small bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, rosemary, thyme, red pepper flakes, sea salt, and black pepper.
  2. Let the mixture sit at room temperature for at least 15 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  3. Just before serving, stir in lemon zest. Serve with warm crusty bread.
