Hot Sausage Beer Cheese Dip

A creamy, spicy dip loaded with sausage, beer, and melted cheese, perfect for game day or gatherings.

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb hot Italian sausage, casings removed
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup beer (lager or ale)
  • 1/2 cup diced green onions
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and crumbled. Drain excess fat.
  2. Reduce heat to low and add cream cheese, stirring until melted and smooth.
  3. Gradually stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and beer until fully combined and creamy.
  4. Mix in green onions, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Serve warm with tortilla chips, pretzels, or crusty bread.
