Hamburger Green Bean Casserole

A hearty and comforting casserole combining ground beef, green beans, and a creamy sauce topped with crispy onions.

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 cans (14.5 oz each) green beans, drained
  • 1 1/2 cups French fried onions

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  4. Stir in the cooked ground beef and drained green beans until well combined.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for 25 minutes, then sprinkle French fried onions on top and bake for an additional 5 minutes until onions are golden and crispy.
  7. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
