For the Crust:
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 8 oz twisted pasta (such as fusilli or rotini)
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Cook the twisted pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken pieces, season with salt and black pepper, and cook until golden brown and cooked through (about 6-8 minutes). Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, Cajun seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Add the cooked chicken back to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Then, add the cooked pasta and mix well until everything is evenly combined.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
