For the Crust:
- 3 large eggs, separated
- 1/2 cup cottage cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon dried herbs (optional)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, beat egg whites and cream of tartar until stiff peaks form.
- In another bowl, blend egg yolks, cottage cheese, salt, and optional seasonings until smooth.
- Gently fold the yolk mixture into the beaten egg whites until just combined.
- Spoon the batter onto the baking sheet in 6 even mounds and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden.
- Let cool before serving.
