Easy Marinated Cheese Appetizer with Salami & Pickles

For the Crust:

  • 8 oz block of cheddar cheese, cubed
  • 8 oz block of cream cheese, cubed
  • 1/2 lb sliced salami, cut into strips
  • 1 cup dill pickles, sliced
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a large bowl, combine cheddar cheese cubes, cream cheese cubes, salami strips, and pickle slices.
  2. In a separate small bowl, whisk together olive oil, red wine vinegar, minced garlic, oregano, red pepper flakes, and black pepper.
  3. Pour the marinade over the cheese, salami, and pickles. Gently toss to coat everything evenly.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best flavor.
  5. Serve chilled with toothpicks for easy grabbing.
