For the Crust:
- 8 oz block of sharp cheddar cheese, cubed
- 8 oz block of cream cheese, cubed
- 1/2 cup salami slices, cut into strips
- 1/2 cup dill pickles, sliced
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a large bowl, combine the cheddar cheese cubes, cream cheese cubes, salami strips, and pickle slices.
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, red wine vinegar, minced garlic, oregano, red pepper flakes, and black pepper.
- Pour the marinade over the cheese, salami, and pickles. Gently toss to coat everything evenly.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best flavor.
- Serve chilled with toothpicks or small forks for easy serving.
