For the Crust:

  • 8 oz block of sharp cheddar cheese, cubed
  • 8 oz block of cream cheese, cubed
  • 1/2 cup salami slices, cut into strips
  • 1/2 cup dill pickles, sliced
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a large bowl, combine the cheddar cheese cubes, cream cheese cubes, salami strips, and pickle slices.
  2. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, red wine vinegar, minced garlic, oregano, red pepper flakes, and black pepper.
  3. Pour the marinade over the cheese, salami, and pickles. Gently toss to coat everything evenly.
  4. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best flavor.
  5. Serve chilled with toothpicks or small forks for easy serving.
