For the Crust:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 12 large marshmallows, halved
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla, mixing well.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing until combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
- Scoop 1 tbsp dough, flatten slightly, place marshmallow half in center, then cover with another tbsp dough. Seal edges.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until set. Let cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring.
