For the Crust:
- 2 lbs raw peanuts in shell
- 4 cups water
- 1 cup dill pickle juice
- 2 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp dill weed
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Rinse raw peanuts thoroughly under cold water.
- In a large pot, combine water, dill pickle juice, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and dill weed.
- Add peanuts to the pot and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to a simmer and cover.
- Simmer for 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally, until peanuts are tender and flavorful.
- Drain and serve warm or chilled.
