Dill Pickle Boiled Peanuts

For the Crust:

  • 2 lbs raw peanuts in shell
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 cup dill pickle juice
  • 2 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dill weed

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Rinse raw peanuts thoroughly under cold water.
  2. In a large pot, combine water, dill pickle juice, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and dill weed.
  3. Add peanuts to the pot and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to a simmer and cover.
  4. Simmer for 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally, until peanuts are tender and flavorful.
  5. Drain and serve warm or chilled.
