Crispy Jalapeño Popper Chicken Alfredo Taquitos

A delicious fusion of jalapeño poppers, chicken alfredo, and crispy taquitos for a flavorful and crunchy appetizer or main dish.

For the Crust:

  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup alfredo sauce
  • 2 jalapeños, diced (seeds removed for less heat)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
  • 10 small flour tortillas
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp dried parsley

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix shredded chicken, cream cheese, alfredo sauce, diced jalapeños, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika until well combined.
  3. Spoon about 2-3 tablespoons of the chicken mixture onto each tortilla and roll tightly. Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
  4. Brush the taquitos with melted butter and sprinkle with parmesan cheese and dried parsley.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden and crispy. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
