For the Crust:
- 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup alfredo sauce
- 2 jalapeños, diced (seeds removed for less heat)
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
- 10 small flour tortillas
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp dried parsley
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix shredded chicken, cream cheese, alfredo sauce, diced jalapeños, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika until well combined.
- Spoon about 2-3 tablespoons of the chicken mixture onto each tortilla and roll tightly. Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
- Brush the taquitos with melted butter and sprinkle with parmesan cheese and dried parsley.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden and crispy. Let cool slightly before serving.
