Creamy Orange Dreamsicle Cake

For the Crust:

  • 1 box vanilla cake mix
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 box instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp orange zest
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix cake mix, orange juice, vegetable oil, and eggs until smooth. Pour batter into prepared pan.
  3. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool completely.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk pudding mix, heavy cream, powdered sugar, orange zest, and vanilla extract until thick and creamy.
  5. Spread the creamy mixture evenly over the cooled cake. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
