Chocolate Cherry Cheesecake

A rich, creamy, and irresistibly sweet cheesecake with a chocolate crust and cherry topping.

For the Crust:

  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 24 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted
  • 1 can cherry pie filling

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F. Mix cookie crumbs and butter, press into a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla and sour cream.
  3. Stir in melted chocolate until fully incorporated. Pour over crust.
  4. Bake for 50-55 minutes until center is almost set. Cool completely, then refrigerate for 4 hours.
  5. Top with cherry pie filling before serving.
