Cherry Marshmallow Fudge Bars

For the Crust:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup maraschino cherries, chopped
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in sugar, cocoa powder, and salt until smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
  4. Fold in flour until just combined. Pour batter into prepared pan.
  5. Sprinkle chopped cherries and mini marshmallows evenly over the batter.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let cool before cutting into bars.
