Cheesy Chicken Bacon Tater Tot Casserole

A comforting and hearty casserole loaded with chicken, bacon, cheese, and crispy tater tots.

For the Crust:

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 (32 oz) bag frozen tater tots
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix shredded chicken, crumbled bacon, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread the chicken mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle both cheeses evenly over the chicken mixture.
  5. Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer on top of the cheese.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the tater tots are golden and crispy and the cheese is bubbly.
  7. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
