Cajun Garlic Butter Sauce

A rich and flavorful sauce with a spicy Cajun kick, perfect for seafood, pasta, or grilled meats.

For the Crust:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Stir in Cajun seasoning, paprika, onion powder, cayenne pepper, thyme, and oregano. Cook for 1 minute to bloom the spices.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and lemon juice, stirring to combine. Simmer for 3-4 minutes.
  5. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in fresh parsley.
  7. Serve warm over your choice of protein or pasta.
