Cabbage Fat-Burning Soup

A hearty and healthy soup packed with vegetables, known for its fat-burning properties.

For the Crust:

  • 1 head cabbage, chopped
  • 2 large onions, diced
  • 4 carrots, sliced
  • 4 celery stalks, chopped
  • 2 green bell peppers, diced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 6 cups low-sodium vegetable broth
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a large pot, sauté onions, carrots, celery, and bell peppers over medium heat for 5 minutes.
  2. Add garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  3. Pour in vegetable broth and diced tomatoes, then stir in chopped cabbage.
  4. Add oregano, basil, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 25-30 minutes until vegetables are tender.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy!
