BBQ Brisket Melts

Tender BBQ brisket with melted cheese on toasted bread for a hearty sandwich.

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb cooked BBQ brisket, shredded
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 8 slices sourdough bread
  • 2 tbsp butter, softened

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat skillet or griddle over medium heat.
  2. Butter one side of each bread slice.
  3. Layer brisket, cheeses, and BBQ sauce between bread slices with buttered sides out.
  4. Grill sandwiches for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and cheese melts.
  5. Slice diagonally and serve warm.

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
