Baked Cod with Lemon and Garlic

A simple and flavorful baked cod dish with fresh lemon and garlic.

For the Crust:

  • 4 cod fillets (6 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 lemon (sliced)
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Place cod fillets on the baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and rub minced garlic over each fillet.
  3. Season with oregano, salt, and black pepper. Top each fillet with lemon slices.
  4. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  5. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
