For the Crust:
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 2 medium apples, diced
- 2 cups water or milk
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a saucepan, bring water or milk to a boil.
- Stir in the oats, diced apples, cinnamon, and salt. Reduce heat to low.
- Simmer for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until oats are tender and apples are soft.
- Remove from heat and sweeten with honey or maple syrup if desired.
- Serve warm.
